2. Data collected

FlowDay collects and processes the following data:

2.1 Data entered by the user

First name or nickname
Planned activities, appointments, and trips
App preferences (theme, colors, notifications)

2.2 Data collected via Google

When you sign in with your Google account (Pro feature), FlowDay accesses the following services:

Google Drive (scope drive.appdata): to back up and restore your data in a private app folder, invisible to other apps and to the user themselves.
Google Calendar (scope calendar): to sync your activities to a dedicated calendar named "FlowDay" and allow sharing this calendar with third parties designated by the user.

2.3 Data not collected

FlowDay does not collect:

Location data
Biometric data
Advertising identifiers
Browsing data
Health-related data

3. Purposes of processing

Data is used exclusively for:

4. Data storage

4.1 Local storage

Data is stored locally on your device in a database encrypted by the operating system (Android/iOS). It is not transmitted to any third-party server by default.

4.2 Google Drive storage (Pro feature)

If you enable Google Drive backup, your data is stored in the appDataFolder of your Google account — a private space accessible only by FlowDay. Google applies its own security and privacy policies: https://policies.google.com/privacy

4.3 Retention period

Local data: kept until the app is uninstalled
Google Drive data: kept until manually deleted or until FlowDay's access is revoked from your Google account

5. Data sharing

FlowDay never sells, rents, or shares your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.

The only possible sharing is:

Google LLC: for Drive and Calendar features, as part of the Google APIs (subject to Google's privacy policy)
People designated by the user: if you use the calendar sharing feature, the people you designate can view (read-only) your FlowDay calendar via Google Calendar

6. User rights (GDPR)

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU Regulation 2016/679) and French data protection law, you have the following rights:

Right of access: obtain a copy of your data
Right to rectification: correct inaccurate data
Right to erasure: delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
Right to portability: receive your data in a structured format
Right to object: object to the processing of your data
Right to withdraw consent: revoke your consent at any time

How to exercise your rights:

Local data: uninstall the app
Google Drive data: revoke FlowDay's access from myaccount.google.com/permissions

7. Security

FlowDay implements the following measures to protect your data:

Local storage encrypted by the operating system
Communication with Google via HTTPS/TLS
Google access limited to strictly necessary scopes (drive.appdata, calendar)
No own servers — no risk of server-side data leaks

8. Pro subscription and payments

Payments related to the FlowDay Pro subscription are handled exclusively by:

Google Play (Android) — subject to Google Play Billing terms
App Store (iOS) — subject to Apple's terms

FlowDay has no access to any banking or payment data. This information is processed directly by Google or Apple.

9. Notifications and alarms

FlowDay uses your device's local notifications to send reminders. These notifications are generated locally and do not pass through any external server. You can disable notifications at any time from your device settings.

10. Minors

FlowDay is designed to be used by minors under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The app does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with personal data without your consent, contact us at flowday.app@outlook.com.

11. Policy changes

In the event of a substantial change to this policy, users will be notified via an in-app notification. The last updated date is shown at the top of this document.
